Abduct Raja, Kalmadi, twippler suggests Maoists

New Delhi, Feb 18: The media has been very busy in the past two days, reporting about the maoists' abduction of an innocent IAS officer from Orissa. Maoists have asked for the release of more than 600 imprisoned ultras in exchange for the abducted IAS officer, R V Krishna's freedom. However, a renowned twipler and famous critic, Suhel Seth, gave a very unique suggestion to the maoists on Friday (Feb 18).

"Why do the Maoists have to take simple, decent people as hostages," tweeted Suhel Seth and then while expresing his great sense of humour he said, "India will give them Raja, Kalmadi and Soren for life..."

Raja and Kalmadi - are the two names which have become the talk of the town. Former telecom minister A Raja who is presently imprisoned in the Tihar Jail over his alleged role in 2G spectrum scam.

And the former CWG OC chief, Suresh Kalmadi, who is also facing the CBI's wrath, may face a trial soon over the corruption issue associated with CWG 2010.


Meanwhile, abducted IAS officer's friends and colleagues have afloated Facebook groups seeking support and are demanding the release of Krishna and the another official, junior engineer Pabitra Majhi who was also abducted by the rebels.

Two new groups have been formed, which are calling for the release of the abducted duo. More than hundreds of people have joined the group on Feb 17.
