Ranchi, Feb 17 (PTI) Kerala women team upset lastedition''s runners up Maharashtra to set up a summit clash withAndhra Pradesh in the badminton competition of the 34thNational Games here today.

The men''s team events saw all top seeded Kerala andAndhra Pradesh cruise into the final with wins over theirrespective opponents.

In the women''s section, Kerala came back from behind towin 2-1 as in the first rubber Arundhati Pantawane gaveMaharashtra the lead with a 18-21, 21-12, 21-10 win over ElsaJacob Daya.

Kerala made a comeback when the duo of PC Thulasi andAparna Balan beat Arundhati and Pradnya 20-22, 21-17, 21-10.

Thulasi beat Neha in the final rubber to clinch the issue.

Andhra beat Bengal 2-0 in the other women''s semifinal.

In the men''s section, Kerala beat Tamil Nadu 3-0, whileAndhra beat Madhya Pradesh by an identical scoreline.
