Bhopal, Feb 18 (PTI) Accusing Prime Minister ManmohanSingh of protecting politicians involved in scams, AkhilBharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) today said it will hold aprotest march to the Parliament on March 4 to seek PM''sresignation on moral grounds.
"Singh was weak and helpless in checking corruption.
He was protecting politicians involved in scams including 2Gspectrum, Commonwealth Games and Adarsh Society," ABVP GeneralSecretary V D Sharma told reporters after wrapping up theParishad''s day-long silent hunger protest against corruptionhere.
Hundreds of ABVP members will take part in a protestmarch to Parliament and seek PM''s resignation against rampantpolitical corruption plaguing the country, he said.
Also, we want that Suresh Kalmadi, Sheila Dikshit andAshok Chavan involved in different scams be arrested, Sharmasaid.
He said the Centre should immediately announce a strategyto bring back the black money stashed in foreign banks andmake public the names of such account holders and seize theirunaccounted wealth.
The circulation of notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000denomination should also be stopped immediately, Sharmademanded adding that it was fuelling corruption.
