Acer Iconia Tab A100 unveiled: Specs & Review
Acer's new Android tablets will run on Google Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS, which is specially designed for tablets. Both these tablets will be available by Apr 2011, however, Acer is yet to announce the details on pricing.
Acer Iconia Tab A100 has a seven-inch full touchscreen with a 16:9 aspect ratio which makes it a perfect multi-media tablet. The wide screen offers maximum enjoyment while watching videos, images and reading ebooks. It also supports High Definition arcade games and 3D games.
Iconia Tab A100 is powered by a dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor that delivers up to two times faster browsing for the best web experience ever. It also features Nvidia GeForce GPU with Adobe Flash support. This Acer tablet comes with a five-megapixel camera at the rear part and a two-megapixel camera at front for video calling.
The connectivity options on Acer Iconia Tab A100 include Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 2.1. The presence of HDMI port and USB helps it to connect to other compatible devices.

Acer Iconia Tab A100 will compete with other tablets like Dell Streak, LG G-Slate, Motorola Xoom, Galaxy Tab, HP TouchPad. The ten-inch Acer Iconia A500 will also offer stiff competition to the upcoming Dell Streak 10 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablets.
