We can expect Android 2.4 Ice Cream in near future and will also witness new smartphones running with this. Also, various smartphones running on Gingerbread may get Ice Cream update, but not sure how many of them support the features of Honeycomb.

Google has not yet announced which all features of Honeycomb will be available on Ice Cream Sandwitch. Hopefully, we can expect 3D UI and exciting widgets. Android 2.4 may be unveiled at Google I/O conference in May, 2011.

During the keynote, Schmidt hailed the bright future of smartphones and expected that smartphones will overtake PCs in near future.
