Karnataka Media Academy delegation meets Kiran Reddy

Hyderabad, Feb 15 (PTI) A 13-member delegation ofKarnataka Media Academy, led by its Chairman D P Parameshwara,called on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy inthe state Secretariat today.

The Chief Minister explained his government''s prioritiesto the visiting delegation.

The state government was giving priority to agricultureand spending about Rs 5,000 crore on free power to the farmsector.

The government was expecting an investment of Rs 1,300crore in the hardware sector soon.

Kiran Kumar Reddy said a Rs 2,800 crore nuclear powerequipment manufacturing unit would come up in Visakhapatnamshortly.

The Karnataka Media Academy chairman lauded theactivities of the A P Press Academy.

The delegation consisted of Academy members VerannaShelvanthara, M S Mani, N Raju, B G Ananthashaina, G PShivaram, Omkar Kakade and Secretary B R Mamatha.

AP Press Academy chairman Tirumalagiri Surender,secretary Nagaiah Kamble and others were present.

Surender later briefed his Karnataka counterparts aboutthe AP Press Academy''s activities.
