Tenage girl becomes victim of honour killing in Agra

(Reopens Des45) Police has launched a hunt to trace Fauzia''s relatives,who allegedly forced Sonu to commit suicide after they came toknow about their relation.

The DIG of Police, Agra range Aseem Arun, said thatthe case was apparently an honour killing and the police hadlaunched a manhunt to trace the relatives.

Meanwhile, in another case, Sarita (20) is alleged tohave been beaten to death by her in laws in the Tila Nandramlocality of the city yesterday.

The girl had married Ajay secretly in March last yearbut the girl�s parents did not know about the marriageimmediately and they kept Sarita with them, not allowing herto meet Ajay.

Ajay moved a habeas corpus petition in Allahabad HighCourt and got an order in his favour on February 10 this year.

However, Sarita''s father Om Prakash alleged that Ajay''sparents refused to keep Sarita in their house.

Sarita''s parents said they had received a message fromAjay�s relatives saying Sarita�s condition was serious.

On reaching the nursing home, where Sarita was admitted,they found Sarita dead with injury marks all over her body.

They, then lodged a case of murder against Ajay�srelatives.
