Tech Mahindra strengthens ties with Microsoft for BI solutions

Mumbai, Feb 15 (PTI) IT major, Tech Mahindra, hasentered into an alliance with Microsoft Corp to offer BusinessIntelligence (BI) solutions for telecom service providers.

As part of the initiative, Tech Mahindra will deployMahindra Satyam�s ''iDecisionsTM for telecom'' onto a Microsoftplatform which will enable both companies to offercustomisable BI solutions to their customers, a press releaseissued here today stated.

The BI solutions cover all major aspects of thetelecom industry decision-making spectrum and would beavailable on a single platform consisting of Microsoft SQLServer 2008 R2, Windows Server 2008, SharePoint 2010 andOffice 2010 with a defined road-map to move this to acloud-based offering using Windows Azure later this year, therelease said.
