Nokia C3-01 to cost Rs 7,200 in India?

New Delhi, Feb 15: Many of us had expected the Nokia C3-01 to be unveiled in the India markets just days after the product was launched in the UK during the year 2010. However, India's most trusted handset brand, Nokia, delayed its shipment to India due to reasons that continued to remain unknown. Now, it seems like Nokia C3-01 is heading towards India and will be available in stores at an attractive price.

One of the famous online retailers in India, Infibeam, has listed the Nokia C3-01 handset in their website for Rs 7,200. This will be the first affordable handset to boast a touchscreen facility along with the traditional alphanumeric keypad. Nokia C3-01 has a a 2.4-inch resistive touchscreen with 240x320 pixels resolution.

This new Nokia mobile will have a five megapixel camera with LED flash at its rear. It would provide 40MB internal memory, but would also support a 32GB micro SD memory expansion. Moreover, the phone would also support the 3G network, the new sensation in India. Other features would include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Nokia Messaging etc.

Nokia is yet to announce the official release date and price of the Nokia C3-01 in India. Earlier, we reported this handset will cost around Rs 9,000, but it appears that Nokia is taking some revolutionary steps to regain their supremacy in India.
