RJD MLA stages sit-in before DM''s office
Ara, Feb 15 (PTI) RJD MLA Dinesh Kumar Singh today stageda sit-in demonstration before the office of DistrictMagistrate to protest against registration of +a false andfabricated+ case against him under Jagdishpur police stationin Bihar''s Bhojpur district in November.
Singh alleged that police had registered +a false andfabricated+ case against him during the day of polling at abooth during the assembly poll in the district in November.
Accompanied by his supporters, the RJD MLA reached thecollectorate and staged the sit-in during the day todaydemanding immediate removal of local Deputy Superintendent ofPolice and withdrawal of the case against him.
The MLA has been charged with creating disturbances,indulging in scuffle, shootouts and snatching a mobile phoneat Deotola booth under Jagdishpur police station in thedistrict in November.
