Churchill Brothers had struggled upfront against Dempo inthe absence of Odafe Okolie before but the biggestdisappointment was their new foreign Brazilian recruit AmauryNunes Neto who failed to provide the spark in the midfieldwhich lacked the creativeness in a 0-2 defeat againsg Dempo.

Churchill Brothers coach Vincent Subramanian will behoping that new recruits -- medio Amaury Nunes and strikerBoima Karpeh strike form in the absence of Okolie as theycannot afford to drop points further which will make thingsdifficult to be in the race for the title.

The boys now have geared up for tomorrow''s match againstJCT who are known for their fighting spirit.

"We have the advantage of playing at home and we need tocollect full points to stay in the title race," Subramaniansaid.

The first leg has been topsy turvy for the Phagwara sidewhich has managed to collect only three points from their lastfive rounds to find themselves in the 10th position aftertheir unbeaten run between sixth to ninth round. More PTI MCSDK AT
