At least 10 killed in Honduras plane crash: Red Cross
Tegucigalpa (Honduras), Feb 14 (AFP) At least 10people were killed today when a small commercial plane withabout 20 passengers onboard crashed near the Honduran capitalTegucigalpa, a Red Cross official said.
"There are more than 10 (dead), there are bodies inthe cabin of the plane," Red Cross emergency responder LuisRomero told AFP.
The chief of the Honduran Air Force, Colonel RuizPastor Lanza, said the military branch received word that aflight from San Pedro Sula to Tegucigalpa had lost contactwith air traffic controllers, and that helicopters andambulances were dispatched to the region. (AFP)
