Badal said Punjab has not sought Rs 3500 crores grant and secondly whatever central grants Punjab was getting it wasconstitutionally its rightful share in central taxes collectedfrom state that nobody can stop.
He said Amarinder was "frustrated" due to Congress highcommand''s refusal to choose his officer-bearers in PCC forfour months and now he was trying to "befool" his cadre byannouncing their candidature.
He charged Punjab was facing "blatant discrimination" fromCongress-led UPA as it was getting only 1.29 per cent share ofcentral taxes collected from the states.
Referring to the Prime Minister''s statements to announce apackage for the farm sector soon, Badal said he was notexpecting any relief for Punjabi farmers as in the Rs 70,000crores farm debt waiver, Punjab''s farmers contributing 70 percent grains to the national kitty got only one per cent share.
Asked about electoral reforms, Badal said the electionprocess in the country required major reforms and he wouldwelcome the reforms suggested by the committee.
