Dubai, Feb 13 (PTI) Jeev Milkha Singh stumbled on thefinal day with a card of three-over 75 and slipped to tied42nd at the end of the Dubai Desert Classic today.
Alvaro Quiros played a wild round, which included aneagle, a hole in one, a triple bogey, one bogey and fourbirdies for a 68 to win the Dubai Desert Classic.
The 70th-ranked Quiros shot a 68 to finish at 11-under277, one stroke ahead of Anders Hansen (70) and James Kingston(67).
Also falling on the final day was Tiger Woods, whostarted the day one off the lead but with a 74 he ended in atie for 20th and his 15th month long title drought continued.
Woods had a 75 to end tied for 20th at 4-under 284.
Jeev bogeyed the second, birdied the third and then againbogeyed the fifth and ninth.
In between, he double bogeyed the eighth and finished thefront nine in 39.
On the back nine, he birdied the 13th, 17th and 18th tocome back to one-over, but then yet another double bogey sawhim slip to 75.
