Advani enters into quarter-finals of snooker tourney

Panaji, Feb 14(PTI) Pankaj Advani(ONGC) cruised into thequarter-finals of the VII PSPB inter unit Snooker tournamentbeating compatriot Rupesh Shah 3-1 in the main draw of theranking event.

In another match, Shahbaaz Khan(BPCL) was in great touchwhen he blanked Dheraj Haria(IOC) 3-0.

Shahbaaz had breaks of (52) in the first frame and (60)in the 3rd frame enroute to his victory.

Saurav Kothari(ONGC) played very well to down AdityaMehta(IOC) 3-2 in a hard fought match which went down to thewire.

Saurav will now play his ONGC team mate Pankaj Advani inthe quarter-finals.
