Two killed as BMW hits autorickshaw, one seriously injured
Chandigarh, Feb 12 (PTI) Two persons were killed while onewas seriously injured when a BMW car hit a auto rickshawwhile overtaking on Chandigarh-Ambala highway near here today,the police said.
They said when the car reached near the Singhpura turn,it hit the auto-rickshaw while overtaking it.
The bodies of the deceased were handed over to the familyafter conducting the postmortem, Zirakpur''s Station HouseOfficer, Yogi Raj said.
He said the car had been impounded and a case registeredagainst an unidentified driver of the car who had fled afterthe accident.
