2011 MWC will kick start on Monday, Feb 14 in Barcelona unveiling new smartphones, tablets and much more exciting gadgets. The 2011 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas was noted for its wide varieties of tablets, including the Motorola Xoom, which bagged the Best Gadget Award.
According to the market buzzes, 2011 MWC will also witness more tablets. One of the most rumored tablet waiting for the MWC launch is Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. According to Samsung's leaked Mobile World Congress 2011 presentation schedule, the company will launch Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and smartphone Samsung Galaxy S 2 on Sunday, Feb 13.
Some technology blogs have reported the specifications of Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, which make it an real Motorola Xoom-Killer. According to various reports, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 will have a 10.1-inch touchscreen display with Super AMOLED Plus Display and Gorilla Glass Technology. But, possibility this new tablet will be be thinner and lighter than the current 7-inch Galaxy Tab.
The new Samsung Glaxy Tab 2 will run on Google Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS (the same which is featured on Motorola Xoom!). This new tablet will be powered with a dual-core Qualcomm processor, enough powerful to offer all multimedia entertainment and 3D experience provided on Honeycomb.
Other specifications of Galaxy Tab 2 include a 8 megapixel camera at rear and another 3 megapixel camera at front for video chatting. The back part of the new tablet will be in black colour instead of white. It also offers Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and USB port.
