New Delhi, Feb 12: India's best selling handset brand, Nokia set to launch its latest 'Touch & Type' mobile, Nokia C3-01, in India by the end of Mar 2011. This new mobile will be a leading competitor among the mid-range 3G smartphones.

The special feature on this new phone is its 'Touch & Type' form factor, that combines touchscreen facility with traditional alphanumeric keypad. It will be a combination of new technology with the traditional values. The keypad helps for easy typing and touchscreen makes it a social networking phone with faster connectivity on different platforms like Facebook and Twitter.

With more service providers jumping to the 3G pool, Nokia C3-01 powered of 3G features will give its users all facilities at an affordable range. This smartphone has a 2.4-inch resistive touchscreen with 240x320 pixels resolution for the maximum multimedia entertainment on 3G network.

Nokia C3-01 runs on Symbian 40 operating system supporting quad-band GSM, quad-band WCDMA, HSPA and WLAN. This new Nokia mobile also offers a 5 megapixel camera at rear with a LED flash. Other features include FM radio, preloaded Facebook and Twitter apps.

Nokia C3-01 Price in India:
Nokia announced the upcoming launch of Nokia C3-01 through their official Twitter account. Nokia guys said that C3-01 will hit the Indian market by the first quarter of 2011. But, Nokia has not yet officially announced the price of Nokia C3-01 in India. We can expect this phone around Rs 9,000 in Indian stores. Stay tuned for more updates.
