RJD to intensify agitation against Nitish government
Patna, Feb 11 (PTI) Alleging that the law and ordersituation was ''gradually declining'' in Bihar, the RJD todaysaid they would take up the issue with Governor atthe earliest.
"The RJD leaders would petition Governor DevanandKonwar seeking his immediate intervention to improve law andorder in Bihar," state RJD President Ramchandra Purve andGeneral Secretary Ramkripal Yadav told reporters here.
"After the NDA having staged a comeback in Bihar, thelaw and order situation has started gradually declining",Purve said threatening to launch an intense agitation.
Purve alleged that more than 100 cases relating tomurder and several others, linked with kidnapping for ransom,were reported from different parts of Bihar in the past onefortnight.
"Even a dalit woman was raped and an undertrial gotbeaten to death by another inmate in connivance with jailauthorities in Nawada recently", he claimed.
"We will not sit idle and soon work out an agitaionalplan to intensify the cmpaign against Nitish Kumargovernment", Purve said.
