Seven killed as truck runs over people attending election meet

Dhar (MP), Feb 10 (PTI) Seven persons, including fivechildren, were killed and 15 others injured when a truck ranover them at an election rally at Pilkhua village in thedistrict today.

Congress MLA, Umang Singhar was addressing the meetingfor the bypoll at Kukshi scheduled to be held on February 14,Dhar Collector, B M Sharma told PTI.

The incident occurred when the driver lost control overthe vehicle due to a technical problem following which it ranover the people who were present at the meeting, Sharma said,adding, the injured were rushed to the hospitals at Kukshi andBarwani.
