ESPNStar to air India''s warm-up games and WC opening ceremony

New Delhi, Feb 11 (PTI) The Indian viewers will be ableto witness the live coverage of India''s warm-up matchesagainst Australia and New Zealand, and the opening ceremony ofthe ICC World Cup as ESPN-Star sports gears up for the livetelecast of 43-day-long event.

The official broadcaster of the International CricketCouncil besides bringing home the live pictures of all the 49encounters leading to the coveted trophy will also simulcastHindi commentary on STAR Sports for the benefit of Hindispeaking audiences.

India, who is tipped to be the title favourite, will takeon Aussies at Bangalore''s Chinnaswamy stadium on Sunday andwill then face New Zealand on February 16 before meetingBangladesh on February 19 in the tournament opener at Dhaka.

The opening ceremony will begin from 17:30 (IST) atBangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka on February 17.
