Wife's conspiracy proves fatal for hubby

New Delhi, Feb 8: A wife's conspiracy had proved fatal for an innocent husband in Delhi. The South district police have arrested a 26-year-old call center employee (victim's wife), her paramour, and two other for allegedly killing her husband in Neb Sarai area.

Navinder Rawat a Lower Division Clerk in the Human Resources and Development Ministry, was shot dead outside his residence in Khanpur on Feb 3. The victim's wife Arti, her courtesan Rishi Kumar and other two associates Praveen and Sumit Kumar were arrested.

Sources said that Rawat and his wife Arti were not having a healthy married life. The lack of peace and happiness within the couple, resulted in an unfaithful exhaustion.

DCP South HGS Dhaliwal said, "Arti is working in HCL BPO in Noida and it came to light that She even did not bother to come downstairs after hearing the gunshots were fired. It also came to light that she was in constant contact with Rishi after the firing incident."

After a length interrogation Rishi broke down and admitted that he and his associates, Praveen and Sumit, tracked down Rawat outside his home, based upon the information provided by Arti. Praveen fired at the victim and they escaped from the scene in a car.

“Arti came in contact with Rishi two years ago as she used to travel in his bus to Noida and back home. They became friends and their friendship turned into a relationship," Dhaliwal said
