Sena, MNS fight to take credit over railway recruitment exam
Mumbai, Feb 8 (PTI) Railway recruitment examinationhas become a subject of competitive programmes by Shiv Senaand its rival Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), as both areappealing Marathi youths to appear for it, and are promisingguidance.
Shiv Sena today said it would conduct coaching forMarathi youth appearing for railway exams, after RajThackeray-led MNS released a handbook for the candidates.
Sena''s Sthaniya Lokadhikar Samitee Mahasangh'' hasclaimed a credit for railway administration''s decision to holdthe written exam in Marathi, among other languages.
"We fought for exam to be conducted in local language.
The sons of the soil would get priority in the jobs if therecruitments are done simultaneously in all the states,"Secretary of mahasangh Mahesh Bobhate today said.
Taking a dig at MNS, the Sena said that the handbookprovided by it contained incomplete information.
At a state executive meeting of Maharashtra NavnirmanSena here last week, Raj Thackeray distributed copies of thehandbook to party activists, to be circulated among railwayjob aspirants in the state.
