Mayawati
New Delhi, Feb 8: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati and her BSP party is already in the headlines for all the wrong reasons for quite some time, and is reeling under controversies for all their alleged wrongdoing. Mayawati has created another fresh controversy on Monday, Feb 7. A Personal Security Officer (PSO) of her wiped her shoes when they got dust-covered.

The incident took place when Mayawati visited a village in Auraiya district. According to sources as soon as she stepped out of her chopper, her long-time security officer Padam Singh, quickly took out his handkerchief and began to clean her dusty shoes.

The shoe wiping exercise continued for a few minutes even as Mayawati stood talking to district officials in the scene.

This incident immediately drew ridicule and flak from Congress and the Samajwadi Party. Former UP Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav said that there was no law and order in the state. "Officers in UP should not go to this level. There is no law and order in the state," said Mulayam.

A series of awful incidents in Mayawati's land (UP) strikes a question about the law and order system. At present Mayawati's government is in the dock.
