Illegal sale of govt land in MP: heirs of Jawra rulers booked
Indore, Feb 7 (PTI) Twenty one persons, includingheirs of erstwhile ruler of Jawra in Madhya Pradesh, have beenbooked here for an alleged illegal sale of government land,police said today.
The illegal sale came to light after an inquiryfollowing the claim made on the land admeasuring 86,000 sqfeet situated at Jawra compound by one Subhshree HousingInfrastructure Company, police said.
In the inquiry, it was found that the accused includingsome heirs of erstwhile rulers of Jawra using fake papers thatshowed them as owners, sold government land for Rs two croreto a real estate company in 2006, police said.
The accused include, a member of Jawra royal familyIntesar Ali and a real estate company director Rakesh Agrawal,police said.
