Bangladesh hands over two top ULFA leaders
Shillong, Feb 5 (PTI) Bangladeshi security forces todaypushed back two top ULFA leaders through the Indo-Banglaborder in Meghalaya where BSF took their custody, officialsources said.
ULFA ''Captain'' Antu Chaudang and ''Second Lieutenant''Pradeep Chetia were pushed back through the Dawki border earlythis morning, the sources said
They were being taken to Guwahati by a team of AssamPolice.
In an e-mail to the media on December 18 last, ULFA''Publicity Secretary'' Arunudoy Dohotia had claimed that thesetwo leaders had been picked up by Indian intelligence agenciesin Bangladesh and since then the duo�s whereabouts were notknown.
Chaudang was the third top ULFA leader on the run after''C-in-C'' Paresh Barua and ''Commander'' Jibon Moran.
Indian security agencies had said earlier that Chaudangwas seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in December andwas undergoing treatment in Bangladesh.
