"Raja is only a pawn. The kingpins have to be brought tobook. With the Supreme Court monitoring every turn of theinvestigations, ''I trust justice will prevail and the moneylooted will be recovered in full and the culprits brought tobook", she said in a statement here.

Allocation of 2G spectrum to foreign players, particularlybased in China and Pakistan which are inimical to India, hasopened up very serious concerns about the nation''ssovereignty, security and territorial integrity, Jayalalithaasaid.

She said it was because of these circumstances that she, along with all other opposition leaders, had beeninsisting on a Joint Parliamentary Committee probe into 2Gspectrum allocation scam. "If the Congress leadership hasnothing to hide, it should give in to this eminentlyreasonable demand".

Rejecting charges of his involvement in the 2G spectrumallocation scam, Karunanidhi had yesterday issued a legalnotice to Swamy, demanding retraction of his ''statement''linking him to the scam within 24 hours.

Karunanidhi had dismissed the allegation as motivated bySwamy''s ''personal malice, political rivalry and clamour forcheap publicity." PTI VIJ APR RA VSC
