Buddha inaugurates Gaur university building
Malda(WB), Feb 5 (PTI) West Bengal Chief MinisterBuddhadeb Bhattacharjee today inaugurated the newlyconstructed building of the Gaur university here.
Speaking on the occasion Bhattacharjee said Gauruniversity was the 18th varsity in the state and the second inNorth Bengal.
He said the university would help the people of NorthBengal.
The chief minister said the state government was giving alot of importance to improving the standard of education inthe state especially scientific research.
State ministers Sailen Sarkar, Narayan Biswas andSrikumar Mukherjee were present on the occasion.
