Chandigarh, Feb 5 (PTI) A bill ensuring right to justicefor all is expected to be introduced in Parliament in the nextfive to six months, Union law Minister M Veerappa Moily saidhere today.
"We are contemplating the Right to Justice Bill so thatnobody should feel alienated...," Moily told reporters afteraddressing Congress workers at the party office here.
He said bill will take care of economic, social andpolitical justice. Justice has to be made available andaccessible to everyone.
On electoral reforms, the Minister said it was a nationalagenda and not restricted to any single political party.
"To prevent criminalisation of politics, a lot of thingshave been discussed," he said to a query.
The Law Minister said the government''s focus was ondecreasing the pendency rate of cases in various courts in thecountry.
Asserting Government''s zero-tolerance towards corruption,Moily said the Centre was very keen on fast-tracking suchcases.
Asked about Haryana''s persistent demand for a separateHigh Court at Chandigarh, Moily said earlier Chief MinisterBhupinder Singh Hooda had written to him and the matter waspending.
"Both the states (Haryana and Punjab) have to agree tothis first. We also need to talk to the (Punjab and Haryana)High Court," he said.
Earlier, he told partymen that his ministry was trying toevolve a system where by India would be able to produce thebest lawyers and advocates at the global level on the lines ofquality IT professionals.
