Egyptians and Malaysians for squash carnival

Mumbai, Feb 4 (PTI) Egypt''s Marwan Hossam Mohamed andMalaysia''s Pushppa Devi Pramasewa are the main attractions inmen''s and women''s categories in the Rs 11-lakh prize moneyIndian Squash Professionals Minute Maid Squash Carnivalcommencing at Khar and Juhu Vile Parle Gymkhanas tomorrow.

Malaysia''s Kamran Khan and Elvinn Keo Jinn Chung are theother foreign participants in the men''s section vying for thetop prize of Rs 1.5 lakh. The losing finalist would pocket Rs75,000, a release said today.

Among the top Indian men in action would be SiddharthSuchde, Gaurav Nandrajog, Vikas Jangra, Sandeep Jangra, MaheshMangaonkar and Aditya Jagtap.

Besides Pushppa Devi, her Malaysian compatriots SitiMunirah Jusoh and Delia Arnold are in the women''s draw alongwith South Africa''s Siyoli Waters who would be fighting forthe winner''s purse of Rs 75,000.

The Indian challenge would be led by Saumya Karki, ShreyaKhatri and Surbhi Mishra, among others.

Over 700 entries have been received from all over thecountry, including in the boys'' and girls'' under-19, under-17,under-15, under-13 and under-11 categories.
