Sutil concludes testing in Valencia for Force India

Valencia, Feb 4 (PTI) Adrian Sutil concluded thethree-day pre-season testing for his Formula One team ForceIndia here, posting the second quickest time of the day aftercompleting more than 100 laps on the track.

Sutil was back on duty for Force India on the final dayof the first pre-season test in Valencia, Spain. TheGerman drove the VJM03 for the first time after the tyre testin Abu Dhabi, last November.

As with Paul di Resta and Nico Hulkenberg over theprevious two days, Sutil''s programme was focussed principallyon collecting further data on the performance of the Pirellityres under different set-ups and fuel loads.

Sutil clocked 1:13.201, second behind the Lotus RenaultGP car of Robert Kubica.

The team will now move to Jerez for the second test nextweek from February 10 to 13 where the VJM04 will be run forthe first time.

"It felt good to be in the car again after a few monthsaway. Everything went pretty smoothly, as we expected with theVJM03, so we could complete the work we wanted to do. Paul andNico had collected a lot of data on the tyres in the previoustwo days, so my aim today was to continue this work onalternative set-ups and fuel loads," Sutil said.

"We got all the information we needed and I feel like weunderstand the tyre performance pretty well now. Having gotback into the car again I now can''t wait to get my first tasteof the VJM04 next week in Jerez," he added.
