KRC to hold solidarity rally for Karmapa

Gangtok, Feb 4 (PTI) The Karmapa Reception Committeehere would take out a rally here tomorrow in support of theTibetan spiritual leader Ogyen Trinley Dorje who is embroiledin a controversy relating to major foreign currency haul.

Speaking to newsmen today, the spokesperson of thepowerful Karmapa Reception Committee, Thukchuk Lachungpa, saidKRC was in touch with Dorje�s centre at Dharamshala and haschalked out programmes showing solidarity with him.

''''We have full faith in the Indian judiciary and believethat the cloud over Dorje will certainly clear soon,'''' hesaid.

Lachungpa said many organisations in Sikkim were eager tosit in hunger strikes demanding clarification on the Karmapaissue but ''we are delivering a message of calmness to all thedevotees in order to provide a healthy environment forinvestigation''.
