Siddiqui asks CM to ensure justice to Dinkar''s relatives

Patna, Feb 3 (PTI) Leader of Opposition in Biharassembly Abdul Bari Siddiqui today accused relatives of DeputyChief Minister S K Modi of not vacating the premises of Hindipoet Rashtrakavi Ramdhari Singh ''Dinkar'' and asked ChiefMinister Nitish Kumar to intervene immediately.

Talking to reporters, Siddiqui alleged that thetenants, who were close relatives of the deputy chiefminister, were not vacating the house of the poet thoughDinkar''s relatives and grandson Arvind Kumar had given legalnotice to them in this connection in April last year.

Arvind Kumar with his 80-year-old mother had met thechief minister on January 31, "but unfortunately, no actionhas been taken so far," the RJD leader said.

Siddiqui alleged that Modi too did not pay anyattention to the complaint handed over to him by Arvind Kumarand others against his relatives during their meeting withModi recently.

"Modi should not have disappointed them," he said.

Stating that Dinkar was "a pride for not only Biharbut also for the entire nation", he said "We should alsoremember the pivotal role of Dinkar during the freedomstruggle.

"It is a very serious matter and the CM shouldintervene to ensure justice to Dinkar''s family," he saidadding he had also written a letter to Kumar in this regard.
