Raja to warm CBI net for more 5 days

New Delhi, Feb 3: Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) finally got 5-day custody of the former telecom minister A Raja and his two detained aides.

Court on Feb 3 stated that Raja and his two other aides - Siddharth Behura and RK Chandolia will be in CBI's remand for the next 5 days.

Raja and the other two were arrested on Wednesday, Feb 2 over their alleged tainted roles in 2G Spectrum scam.

A Raja arrested; Congress-DMK ties at stake 

Raja on Thursday resigned from his party DMK over the issue.

Charges against Raja

  • Criminal Misconduct
  • Policy Violation
  • Favouring specific telecom Companies

Though the Opposition parties like BJP and ADAIMK criticised Raja's arrest as "too little and too late."

However, DMK continues to support Raja as the party (DMK) claimed, "We will support him, untill unless he will be proved as a guilty."
