3 held in bank money loot case
New Delhi, Feb 3 (PTI) Delhi Police today claimed to havecracked the sensational case of two men fleeing with Rs 67.5lakh in a cash van after arresting their three friends but areyet to recover the looted money.
Two persons are still absconding in the case in which agunman and driver fled with the cash from Alakananda insouth-east Delhi on January 28. The cash was meant to bedeposited in different ATMs in the city.
Gunman Sandeep Kumar (24), driver Gautam (20) and theirassociate Arun Singh (33) were arrested yesterday from Delhiand Uttar Pradesh, R S Krishniah, Joint Commissioner of Police(Special Cell), told reporters here.
Sandeep and Gautam, who worked for the company providingsecurity to the HDFC bank, were arrested by the Special Cellfrom the outskirts of Bulandshahr town in UP, while Arun wasapprehended from Samalkha by south-east district police, hesaid.
Gautam was earlier involved in a case of theft and attemptto murder and was lodged in Meerut jail.
