However, when Nampally ACP B Muralidhar and other policepersonnel intervened to clear the area after taking permissionfrom the MSJ court judge, the protesting advocates beat up twoconstables Shaukat Ali and P Suresh, who were videographingthe scene, and also damaged their video cameras, DeputyCommissioner of Police (Central Zone) Akun Sabharwal told PTI.
"When a cameraman of a regional TV channel was shootingthe incident, his video-camera was also snatched by theprotesting advocates, but we managed to videograph the wholeincident and also identified five advocates who manhandled ourcops," Sabharwal said adding they would soon register separatecriminal cases against the advocates who were responsible forthe incident.
Police personnel later took away the advocates fromentrance gate after which another group of advocates held adharna on the steps of the Nampally Court.
Meanwhile, the Telangana advocates gave a representationto the Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh High Court seekingsuspension of ACP Muralidhar accusing him of using"unparliamentary" words on Telangana, Thrigunathma said. PTIVVK RAOVKV
