Mumbai, Feb 1 (PTI) Raj Oil Mills today said it aimsto increase its market share in hair oil market from thepresent 8 per cent.
"We are aiming to increase our market share from thepresent 8 per cent and plan to be among the top threecompetitors in the coconut oil segment," Raj Oil Chairman andManaging Director Arif Tharadra told reporters here.
The Indian hair care market, estimated at Rs 600crore, is growing at a rate of 6-7 per cent per annum.
The company is also looking at expanding distributionnetwork across India. "We are planning to expand ourdistribution network across the country for our Cocoraj brand(pure edible coconut oil product)," Tharadra said.
The edible oil firm has presence in Western, Northernand select parts of Eastern India.
The company has launched a new look Cocoraj hair oiland appointed Krushnaa Patil, the youngest Indian woman toconquer Mount Everest, as its brand ambassador.
