London, Feb 2 (ANI): An advert by PETA showing scantily clad models in raunchy poses with vegetables has been deemed too risque to be aired on television during the Super Bowl.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) had come up with an advert called 'Veggie Love' showing scantily clad models fondling phallic vegetables in a hyper sexualised manner, the Daily Mail reported.

The video, which would have been screened on prime time TV, was not aired by station NBC in 2009, but now the charity has released another 30-second video, which is even riper than the rejected advert.

It shows a stream of models entering a casting agency wearing nothing but their sexiest lingerie, and then they are asked by the director to "pick a vegetable and show us how much you love it".

The girls are invited to select from a range of ripe vegetables, including aubergines, corncobs, tomatoes, celery, carrots and broccoli, and they are then seen frolicking on a nearby couch. (ANI)
