Hyderabad, Feb 2 (PTI) City police today arrested a21-year-old Nepali national who allegedly decamped with Rs 20lakh from a pharma company in Secunderabad here and claimed tohave solved the case in less than 10 hours.
The accused Thakur Santosh Bahadur, who allegedly stoleRs 20 lakh from the office of a pharma company yesterdaymorning was arrested from the Nampally Railway station lastevening and Rs 19.99 lakh was recovered from him, AdditionalCommissioner of Police (Coordination) A R Anuradha toldreporters here.
CCTV footage installed in the office revealed thatBahadur, a staff member entered the office and took away thecash at 8.53 am. Ramgopalpet police formed six teams andnabbed Bahadur from the Nampally Railway station at about 7pm, she explained.
Bahadur, a native of Bardia district of Nepal, who wasworking in the pharma company for the past three months, wastrying to flee to Delhi after stealing the amount, the seniorpolice officer said.
