Five more ITBP job-seekers succumb, death toll touches 20
Lucknow, Feb 2 (PTI) Five more ITBP job aspirantssuccumbed to injuries today taking the number of youths killedwhile travelling atop two speeding trains in Uttar Pradesh to20.
Four of the 11 seriously injured, brought fromShahjahanpur and admitted to the Lucknow Medical College, diedthis morning, UP Special DGP Brij Lal told reporters here.
Another job-seeker, thrown off the moving train, hadalso succumbed to injuries, District Magistrate Ajay Chauhansaid in Shahjahanpur.
Yesterday, 15 youths, returning from Braeilly aftersubmitting documents for the post of tradesmen in ITBP, werekilled when they fell from the roof of the two trains.
Fourteen, travelling atop the Himgiri Express, werekilled when they were hit by an overbridge near Shahjahanpur.
