Tiruchi headquartered KSSA to open new branches in south

Tiruchirappall,Feb1 (PTI) Tiruchirappalli headquartered KSWarrier�s Ashtanga Ayurvedics Pvt Ltd (KSAA) would open newbranches across the south, a top company official said.

"By August this year,a new lifestyle centre and clinic wouldbe opened at Salem and Coimbatore.Similar centres will beopened in Bangalore and Mysore by October," TVN Warrier, MD,KSAA told PTI.

The company, which has seven branches in Tamil Nadu andKerala that include Thanjavur, Kumbakonam and Ernakulam(Kerala), is also running two clinics in Mumbai underfranchisee model.

The new centres would be directly controlled by thecompany. It is also looking for a suitable site inSecunderabad, Warrier said.

KSAA is also planning to set up a manufacturing facility inSouthern districts of Tamil Nadu at a suitable location wherecopius supply of water and easy access to raw material sources(herbs and herbal products) is available.

TR Sasi Warrier, Executive Director, on the sidelines ofinaugurating a new centre at Srirangam near here, said "Thecompany already had a manufacturing facility on a four-acresite at Thayanoor village, about 12km from the city. Thefactory is spread across 15000 sq ft.

KSAA was exporting substantial quantities of the productsto UK, USA and Malaysia,he said.

Recently, enquiries had come from Russia and Thailand. Thecompany was in the process of appointing outlets in thesecountries.

A team of pharma experts from the West Indies had alsovisited the factory evincing interest to purchase and stockKSAA ayurvedic products which include a wide range ofayurvedic medicines both in the classical preparation segmentas well as FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) like hair oiltonics and hair wash shampoos.

Lifestyle clinics specialize in the management andtreatment of rheumatism and arthritis, digestive disorders andskin problems.Each centre is equipped with adequate facilitiesfor imparting this treatment tagged with a dispensing counterand trained para medical staff as per the traditional medicalsystem of ayurveda.
