PF scam: CBI court directs accused judges to appear in person
Ghaziabad, Jan 31 (PTI) A special CBI court trying theprovident fund scam today ordered the counsels for the sixaccused judges to file an undertaking that their clients wouldappear before it on the next date of hearing.
The court said warrants would be issued against theaccused judges if they fail to file undertakings in thisregard within a week.
CBI special judge A K Singh passed the order and fixedFebruary 18 as the next date of hearing.
Five judges accused in the 6.58 crore PF scam -- R CMishra, R N Mishra, R S Chobey, Ajay Kumar and Arun Kumar --had filed their medical certificates expressing inability toappear before the court. However, no application was filed byanother accused judge R P Yadav.
