Nitish attacks PM on corruption issue
Patna, Jan 31 (PTI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumartoday accused Prime Minister Manmohan Singh of keeping"silence" over bringing back the black money stashed away inSwiss and other banks abroad.
"Black money worth billions are stashed away in Swiss andother banks abroad... but the PM is maintaining silence overbringing the money back," Kumar told NDA workers here.
He said the Prime Minister should ensure return of theblack money as it would facilitate funding of a plethora ofschemes for the poor.
Kumar said his government was firm in its resolve to weedout corruption and his cabinet colleagues have alreadydeclared details of their assets.
"Our fight against corruption will continue... and forthis we have evolved several measures", he said.
The Chief Minister also stressed the need for greatercoordination between workers of NDA allies JD(U) and BJP andsought their suggestions for reaching the benefits ofdevelopment schemes to all in a better way.
