Lucknow, Jan 30 (PTI) Cricketer Suresh Raina todaysaluted the martyrs who had laid down their lives for thecountry and said the government should look after the welfareof their kin properly.
"Martyrs laid down their lives to save us and their debtcan never be repayed. This is our duty to take full care oftheir kin," Raina, who was here to attend a felicitationfunction organised by Sahara India Pariwar here to honour thekin of Kargil War, Mumbai terror attack and Dantewada Naxalattack martyrs.
"If I were the Prime Minister then I would have got somegood schemes framed for the families of the martyrs and getthem implemented at all cost," he added when asked what hewould have done if he had been the PM.
