AP CM asks officials to streamline ''Rachabanda'' applications
Hyderabad, Jan 30 (PTI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister NKiran Kumar Reddy today instructed the district collectors andplanning department officials to streamline and process all''Rachabanda'' applications for their proper redressal.
''Rachabanda'' (a mass contact programme) was launched bythe state government on January 24 in Rajam-Dolpet NagaraPanchayat of Srikakulam district.
It had come to the notice of the Chief Minister that manypeople, especially those belonging to poor sections wererepresenting to redress other problems also apart from theseven prioritised issues of the ''Rachabanda'' programme, arelease from the CMO office said.
In this backdrop, Kiran Kumar Reddy instructed thedistrict collectors and the planning department to receiveeach and every application during the Rachabanda programmewithout fail.
"People during the course of Rachabanda programme mayrepresent any new issues/problems other than the sevenprioritised issues, all those applications should also bereceived and processed for redressal," Reddy said.
Reddy had already instructed the administration tostreamline and process the applications received during theRachabanda programmes on the seven prioritized issues likedistribution of Ration Cards/Coupons, Y S R Abhaya Hastham,Pensions, Rajiv Arogya Sri, Mahatma Gandhi NREGS, Pavala Vaddiand Indiramma Housing, the release added.
