New Delhi, Jan 30 (PTI) Three youths were arrested inwest Delhi with firearms when they were allegedly planning torob a businessman for "big money", police said today.
Naveen (21), his cousin Rohit (19), and Sandeep (19)were apprehended from Paschim Vihar last evening while theywere trying to hide from a police patrolling party, VRenganathan, Deputy Commissioner of Police (West), said.
Two country-made pistols bought from Uttar Pradesh anda knife were recovered from them. All of them belong toBulandshahr in UP.
"The trio were earlier involved in petty crimes inDelhi and UP. Now they wanted to commit a big robbery orsnatching and zeroed in on Jwala Hei market where there werelots of businessmen," Renganathan said.
Naveen was working in a cloth shop and was enticedallegedly by his cousin Rohit into the world of crime, he saidadding the cousins shifted to Delhi. They also brought Sandeepwith them.
