Ghaziabad, Jan 29 (PTI) Utsav Sharma, who hadinflicted grievous wounds on murdered teenager Aarushi''sfather Rajesh Talwar outside a Ghaziabad court, is sharing aroom with Moninder Singh Pandher, one of the main accused inthe Nithari serial killing case, in the Dasna district jailhospital here, a top official said today.
30-year-old Sharma is undergoing mental treatment atthe jail hospital while Pandher is admitted since last 10 daysas he is suffering from high blood pressure.
"Utsav Sharma is being looked after by jail doctorsthree times in a day, but due to lack of space in the hospitalhe has been put in the same room where Pandher is alreadyundergoing medical treatment," Jail Superintendent Viresh RajSharma told PTI.
Meanwhile, Utsav''s mother has moved an applicationbefore the Chief Judicial Magistrate for her son''s propermedical treatment as he reportedly suffers from personalitydisorders, he said, adding her application has been forwardedto the Dasna jail authorities.
However, the jail superintendent said Pandher is beingkept away from Sharma as he is fearful of being attacked byhim.
"Pandher has also expressed fear of attack from UtsavSharma and distance is being maintained between the two beds,"the jail superintendent said, adding strict security cover hasalso been given to both of them.
Utsav Sharma, a resident of Varanasi, slashed54-year-old Talwar''s face with a cleaver on 25th Januarybecause he was reportedly upset with the slow progress in theAarushi-Hemraj twin murder case.
Sharma had in February last year attacked formerHaryana DGP SPS Rathore, convicted in the Ruchika molestationcase, outside a Panchkula court.
