Kolkata, Jan 29 (PTI) Top seed Chi-Shan Jao of ChineseTaipei clinched the boys singles crown of ONGC-ITF JuniorTennis at DKS Sports Complex here today.
Croatia''s Donna Vekic clinched the girls crown when thethird seeded beat the fifth seed Elizaveta Kulchkova fromRussia 6-2 6-3.
Fourth seeded Haadin Bava and Vilasier Khate of Indiadefeated the top seeded pair of Vinod Gowda and Taipei partnerKai-Wen Lai to take boys doubles title with a 6-4, 7-6 (7-5)win.In the boys singles final, Jao beat second seeded IndianRishabdev Raman 6-1 1-6 6-3 in 135 minutes.
The first set had two breaks. Jao broke Raman in thesecond and fourth games. The second set saw serves beingbroken more often.
Raman broke Jao in the second, fourth and sixth games toequalise with a 6-1 win. In the decider Jao broke Raman in thesecond, sixth and eighth games while losing his serves in thefifth and seventh games.
In the girls final, Donna broke Elizaveta in the second,fourth and eighth games and got broken in the third game ofthe first set.
In the second set Donna broke her opponent in the secondand eighth games while failing to retain her serve in thethird game.
