Moderate fall in castorseeds futures

Mumbai, Jan 29 (PTI) Castorseeds futures declinedmoderately in an otherwise lacklustre oils and oilseeds marketdue to poor export enquiries.

Refined palmolein also softened on lack of buying supportfrom retailers.

Meanwhile, groundnut oil, castorseeds bold, castoroilcommercial and linseedoil traded stable in the absence ofmarket moving factors.

In the futures section, castorseeds for March deliveryresumed higher at Rs 4,400, but later fell back to touch alow of Rs 4,325 before closing at Rs 4,375 from overnightclosing level of Rs 4,395, showing a fall of Rs 20 per tonne.

Turning to edible-oil section, refined palmolein moveddown slightly to Rs 585 as against Rs 586 yesterday. Groundnutoil, however, held steady at Rs 760 per 10kg.

However, Castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial andlinseedoil closed unaltered at Rs 5,300, Rs 1,090 and Rs 710respectively.
