London, Jan 28 (ANI): A man in UK, who was pulled over for driving erratically, has been arrested after he was found to have consumed eight different drugs.

Tests showed that Jamie Harrison, 32, had taken heroin, cocaine and cannabis, and there were also traces of the heroin substitute methadone, morphine, opiates, codeine and benzodiazepine in his system.

Evidence of the chemical monoacetylmorphine indicated he'd recently consumed a large amount of heroin.

Officers, who had stopped his car, found a bag of white powder and Harrison, of Hatton, was arrested on suspicion of possessing of a class A drug.

Harrison has admitted to driving while under the influence when he appeared before magistrates at Burton, Staffordshire.

He has also pleaded guilty to possessing the white powder, which was later found to be a Class B amphetamine, when he appeared in court, as well as possessing another small amount of amphetamine on November 9.

Harrison had been on "script", meaning he had been receiving methadone treatment to help get him off drugs, but had lapsed at the time of his arrest.

"The news is that he is back on script now," the Daily Mail quoted John Skinner, defending, as telling the court. (ANI)
